Public Meeting Location: the Vienna Town Hall, 2083 NYS Route 49, North Bay, NY

The public is invited to the meeting to learn about the draft Unit Management Plan for the state lands called Vienna Woods. (Western Oneida County). Public comments also are welcome at the meeting, and during a public comment period that runs through March 3, 2014.

The public is invited to the meeting to learn about the amended remedy being proposed by DEC to address contamination related to the Powers Chemco Site (Glen Cove, Nassau County), within New York's State Superfund Program. Public comments also are welcome at the meeting, and during a public comment period that runs through February 17, 2014.

Note that the events at environmental education centers will only display in the region in which they are located, even though they serve residents from adjacent areas.
