DEC invites public comment about a proposed remedy to address contamination related to the Former Hampshire Chemical Corp Facility (Waterloo). Comments regarding the cleanup proposal may be submitted until January 16, 2014.

An informal availability session about the proposal will be held at 7pm (followed by a public meeting at 8pm) on December 17, 2013. Location: Seneca County office Building, Heroes Conference Room - 3rd Floor, 1 DiPronio Drive, Waterloo, NY,

The public is invited to an informal public meeting ("availability session") to learn about cleanup activities being proposed within New York's Brownfield Cleanup Program to address contamination related to the 365 Bond Street Site, located in Brooklyn. Drop in anytime during this informal session to ask questions and discuss the upcoming site activities.

Public comments also are welcome at the session, and during a public comment period that runs through January 30, 2014.
