DEC invites public comment about a proposed expedited cleanup of contamination related to the 5140 Site, within New York's Brownfield Cleanup Program. The site is located at 5140 Commercial Drive, Yorkville, Oneida County. Comments regarding the cleanup proposal will be accepted through December 5, 2013.

Project documents are available for review at the New York Mills Library, 399 Main Street, New York Mills, NY 13417  (315) 736-5391.

DEC and the Upper Susquehanna Coalition will be conducting two free (4) four hour Post-Flood Emergency Stream Intervention training sessions for municipal officials, municipal equipment operators, and other interested entities. Sign up early to attend one of these free sessions:
