The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation encourages you to join us on a hike to become a deer expert as we separate myth from reality. Hold real antlers that deer shed. Then we will hike through the woods and search for tracks and traces that deer leave behind. All ages are welcome. We hope to see you (and the deer) there!

We will meet in the parking lot of Mt. Loretto Unique Area, located at 6450 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island NY. Please be on time.

For additional information on Mt. Loretto, visit: http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/8291.html.

Note that the events at environmental education centers will only display in the region in which they are located, even though they serve residents from adjacent areas.
