Homeowners, land care professionals and municipalities... Help Be Green in the Great Lakes.  Join us for a free full-day of training about Alternative and Organic Land Care/Pest Management.  Training includes:  pest detection, yard maintenance, selecting well-adapted plants and much more.  Learn how to protect soil, plant health and water resources in NY's 33-county Great Lakes Basin.  Registration required and seating is limited.  Lunch provided.  Location:  Roberts Wesleyan College, 2301 Westside Drive, Rochester, NY . These winged insects are as interesting as they are colorful and acrobatic. They are also excellent indicators of environmental health. Join us for an indoor overview of the natural history and life cycle of dragonflies and damselflies. Afterward, odonate expert Alison Van Keuren will lead a catch-and-release identification of local species.
