This webinar will provide an overview of the development of a CSC web-based toolkit that is being designed so communities can locate GHG reduction practices in the areas of land use, transportation, building codes, housing policy, green infrastructure, and infrastructure investment that best suit local needs and priorities. Feedback and suggestions will be solicited from the audience.

The webinar will be accessible to anyone via an Internet connection and telephone. Webinar participants must use the telephone call-in number; no audio signal will be transmitted over the Internet. To join the webinar, go to http://www.webdialogs.com, click the “Join a meeting” button and enter Conference ID 58089 in the “Meeting Login” screen. On your telephone, dial 1-866-394-2346 and enter conference call code 1982360347# when prompted.

These workshops will provide an overview of the grant application process and useful information for potential applicants. Emily Vail and Andrew Meyer from the NYSDEC Hudson River Estuary Program will discuss the Hudson River Watershed and how tributaries connecting the landscape of the Hudson Valley affect the water quality of the Hudson River. They will also explain the basics of green infrastructure and how it can help improve water quality in the valley.
