Want to get out of the house with your young child? Join our fun series just for them! Each hour-long session will feature a variety of activities, such as stories, games, crafts and snacks. Participants must register for the entire series. For children ages 3 to 5. Materials fee = $20.00 per child; $10.00 per child for Friends of Reinstein members. Availability Session Location: Washington County Municipal Center, Building B, Room #2, 383 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY

The public is invited to the availability session to learn about the remedy being proposed by DEC to address contamination related to the National Grid Former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) Site (Fort Edward). Public comments also are welcome at the availability session, and during a public comment period that runs through February 25, 2013.

Representatives of community organizations and other members of the public interested in the 2012-2013 Environmental Justice Community Impact Grants are invited to attend the Grant Outreach Workshops hosted by the Office of Environmental Justice throughout New York State during January and February 2013. These workshops will provide an overview of the grant application process and useful information for potential applicants.
