How old can a goldfinch get? Last summer, biologists at Five Rivers’ M.A.P.S. bird-banding station found that out—among other things. Join us to learn all about Five Rivers’ bird banding program as we commemorate the formation of the American Bird Banding Association 103 years ago this week.

Turn trash into treasure or at least use eco-friendly materials when wrapping all those pretty packages for under the tree. Come ready to get a little messy as we explore various wrapping materials that are eco-friendly, kid-friendly and fun. Parent(s) and child(ren) must accompany each other. This program is free of charge, but space is limited. Please call the center at 518-475-0291 to register by Wednesday, November 28.
