A public meeting to discuss the draft Between Rivers Unit Management Plan (UMP) will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Unadilla Valley High School auditorium.  The school is located at 4238 State Rt. 8, New Berlin, approximately four miles south of the village of New Berlin.  The school and auditorium are accessible sites.

Meeting Location: Waterford Town Hall, 65 Broad Street, Waterford, NY

The public is invited to the meeting to learn about the remedy being proposed by DEC to address contamination related to the site. Public comments also are welcome at the meeting, and during a public comment period that runs through November 21, 2012.

Note that the events at environmental education centers will only display in the region in which they are located, even though they serve residents from adjacent areas.
