This award-winning workshop offers lessons and activities intended to teach wildlife-based conservation and environmental education to teachers and community leaders.  The goal is to foster a sense of stewardship in students grades K-12, promoting responsible actions toward wildlife and related natural resources.  Participants receive a free curriculum guide upon completion.  (www.projectwild.org)

Come out and learn all about trees. We will take a walk in search of the “grandmother trees” on the property, using simple tools to measure tree height and width. Learn a little identification and have some fun with hands-on activities. Appropriate for those 8 years or older. Parent(s) and child(ren) must accompany each other. This program is free of charge, but space is limited. Please call the center at 518-475-0291 to register by Wednesday, October 31.
