Campostoma anomalum

Central Stoneroller inhabits gravel-bottomed streams and is often in schools in shallow bedrock areas. It is found in 14 watersheds, mostly in western and central NY. It is non-native to the Delaware, Upper Hudson and the Mohawk watersheds, and there are only a few records from the Lower Hudson and Saint Lawrence watersheds.
