Erimystax x-punctatus

Gravel Chub occurs in medium-sized streams with clean gravel and is native to only part of one watershed, the eastern Allegheny. It was recorded only six times in 1937 and only 18 times in 1954-80. Gravel chub is classified as Threatened even though it is likely extirpated.
