Gravel Chub

Erimystax x-punctatus

Gravel chub occurs in medium-sized streams with clean gravel and is native to the Allegheny. Six collections were made in 1937 and 18 reports date from between 1954 and 1980. Gravel chub is classified as Threatened even though it is likely extirpated.
