Satinfin Shiner

Cyprinella analostana

Satinfin shiner inhabits mid-size creeks and occurs in half the state. It is native to southern watersheds and presumed non-native in the Ontario, Black and Saint Lawrence watersheds. It continues to be found throughout its historic native range, but populations have declined.
