Interim List of Invasive Plant Species in New York State

Purpose
The primary purpose of this list is to inform New York State agencies so they can incorporate invasive species management into their funding, regulatory and other activities pursuant to ECL 9-1705 (b) and especially ECL 9-1709 (2).This list was not prepared pursuant to ECL 9-1705 (5) (h), the so-called "four-tier system".
This list does not include all plant species that are invasive or potentially-invasive in New York State.
