Directions to the NYNHP Office

From the South:
Take Interstate 87 (NYS Thruway-toll road) North to Exit 23. Follow Interstate 787 North to Exit 4 (Downtown Albany and Rts. 9 & 20). Move to the far right lane and proceed North on Quay Street (Corning Preserve access road). Go straight through the traffic light and follow signs for Colonie Street. Turn left at the traffic light onto Water Street. Get into the right lane and take a right onto Orange Street just before the 14-story DEC building.

From the West:
Take Interstate 90 (NYS Thruway-toll road) East to Exit 24 (left exit ramp). Follow Interstate 90 East (signs to Albany and Boston) and exit onto Interstate 787 South. Continued below**.

From the East:
Take Interstate 90 West across the Hudson River to Interstate 787 South. Continued below**.

From the North:
Take Interstate 87 South and follow signs for Interstate 90 East (signs to Albany and Boston). Take 90 East and exit onto Interstate 787 South. Continued below**.

**Go south on 787 to Exit 4B (Route 9, Clinton Avenue). At the light at the bottom of the off-ramp, turn left to head south on Broadway. The 14-story DEC building is 1 block down on the left.

PARKING:

There is a public parking garage on Orange Street just north of and across the street from the DEC building. Note, the parking garage directly adjacent to the DEC building is not open to the public on weekdays.
Two-hour metered parking is available on the streets around the DEC building.
Parking is also available at public lots. Most charge a fee. A couple of the lots are a block west of the DEC building.

ONCE IN THE DEC BUILDING:
