  • SPDES General Permit for Point Source Discharges to Surface Waters of New York State From Pesticide Applications (Permit Number: GP-0-11-001)
  • Vessel General Permit required for most commercial vessels greater than 79 feet in length that operate in US waters. The VGP regulates 26 different discharges from vessels that are incidental to the normal operation of a vessel
  • Assists partners and NYS municipalities in obtaining funding for nonpoint source projects (e.g., Bond Act; EPF; Section 319, EQIP, Great Lakes erosion control projects)
  • Coordinates and supports the Nonpoint Source Coordinating Committee (NPSCC), its Steering Committee and workgroups
  • Implements the Nonpoint Source Management Program (PDF) (879 KB) in collaboration with key partners, and periodically updates the management plan
  • Maintains the inventory of NPS Management Practice Catalogs
