Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in an environmental, engineering, ecology, geography or other earth/natural science based program.

Plus 4 years of experience in resource management and land use planning. Work and educational experience must include a background in computers (including geographical information systems - ESRI ArcMAP), public speaking, and being a leader of a team of professionals and technicians to develop and complete management planning projects. Plus a background in regulation (including SEQR and EIS), land transactions, policy and working with advocacy groups. Work experience must also include the development of survey, sampling, and report writing.

A Master Degree in an environmental, ecological, engineering, geography or other earth/natural science based program may be substituted for one year of work experienced as described above.

Must have and maintain a valid NYS Driver's License
