November 16, 2011 - Hudson River Estuary Management Advisory Committee Meeting
The Hudson River Estuary Advisory Committee met on November 16, 2011 at the Norrie Point Environmental Center, Staatsburg, NY for a morning meeting of the committee. Seventy six (76) people attended. Agenda topics addressed during the meeting included: announcement of the first issue of the Estuary Program's e-newsletter, RiverNet; Hudson River Estuary Conservation Partner awards presented to Submerged Aquatic Vegetation Monitoring Volunteers; introduction of the new Mohawk River Program; discussion of the future direction of the program, and the impacts of Hurricane Irene and Tropical storm Lee on the river and in the watershed.
