May 19, 2010 - Hudson River Estuary Management Advisory Committee Meeting

The Hudson River Estuary Advisory Committee met on May 19, 2010 at the Norrie Point Environmental Center, Staatsburg, NY for an all day meeting of the committee. Sixty five people attended. Agenda topics addressed during the meeting included: progress reports from committee members and partners on a variety of Action Agenda-related projects, the PCB Pilot Dredging Project in the Upper Hudson River, and the American shad Recovery Plan. Hudson River Coordinator, Fran Dunwell, presented the 2009-2010 Executive Director's annual report. The Committee heard a presentation on DEC's proposed policy on Best Technology Available for Cooling Water Intake Structures and voted on a resolution.
