The Avon office is the headquarters for Region 8. It is the center of most of the Department's activities in the Region, including:

The Bath sub-office has the second largest staff in Region 8.

The Elmira office is the Regional Flood Control Office for Region 8. The staff handle flood control issues and hazardous materials spills.
