Sporting License Office Hours: The Regional One Sporting License Office at Stony Brook is open from Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the sale sporting licenses. Individuals can visit their local Wal-Mart, Sports Authority, Town Clerk's Office as well as many other local sporting goods stores to purchase hunting and fishing licenses. Individuals can also visit the Department of Environmental Conservation Automated Licensing System (DECALS) page. DEC Three-Year Seasonal Access permits can be obtained at the DEC's Stony Brook office between the hours of 9 a.m - 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. only.
