Duties/Responsibilities | Answer telephone calls for service, both emergency and non-emergency, identify scope and type of assistance needed, record and relay information to appropriate personnel for handling. Operate and understand the technical operation of fixed and mobile communications equipment, and networked and stand-alone computer equipment. Provide administrative support to sworn members of the New York State DEC Police and Forest Rangers. Shifts are bid by seniority and will likely include nights and weekends. |
Minimum Qualifications Strictly adhered to based on Civil Service requirements | Possession of a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma issued by an appropriate educational authority. |
