Marine Resources Advisory Council Meetings and Agendas
The Marine Resources Advisory Council (MRAC) was established in 1987 to advise DEC on marine resources issues, such as commercial and recreational fishing, proposed regulations and the protection and utilization of New York's valuable marine resources. MRAC meets 6 - 8 times a year, usually at the Bureau of Marine Resources headquarters in East Setauket, Long Island.
MRAC will be holding its next meeting on September 22, 2009 at 2:00 PM. The agenda for this meeting is not yet available.
A summary of the discussions from each Council meeting is created as a bulletin after each meeting. Past issues of the Council Bulletin are available from the MRAC website. Please use the link for MRAC Information in the column to the right.
