Position #1: Will provide support to the Materials Management Program. Duties include, but not limited to, answering telephones, faxing, typing, copying, scanning, filing, and assisting with support for other programs as needed. Must have excellent communication and telephone skills, be proficient in Work, Excel, and Access, and be able to prioritize, work independently and be able to multi-task.
Position #2: Provide support to the Air Resources Program and the FOIL Coordinator. Duties include, but not limited to, answering telephones, faxing, typing, copying, scanning, filing, preparing form letters, data entry into the FOIL database, routing and tracking of Regional incoming/outgoing FOIL request, and assisting other programs as needed. Must have excellent communication and telephone skills, be proficient in Work, Excel, and Access and be able to prioritize, work independently and be able to multi-task.

Reinstatement Eligible - Previously held the title on a permanent competitive basis or held a title as indicated under the transfer eligible section on a permanent competitive basis.
Transfer Eligible - One year of permanent competitive service at Salary Grade 4 or higher and either:
Eligible for transfer under Section 70.4: Must meet the open competitive minimum qualifications below;
Eligible for transfer under Section 70.1: Permanent competitive service as a Keyboard Specialist 1, Calculations Clerk 1, Clerk 1, Data Entry Machine Operator, Mail & Supply Clerk, Office Machine Operator, Stores Clerk 1. If you have not already demonstrated proficiency in keyboarding you will have to demonstrate that you meet the minimum proficiency in keyboarding. Also any language parenthetic for the above titles will qualify. Additional titles which qualify can be found on the Department of Civil Service website , http://www.cs.ny.gov/, search "GOT-IT".
55-b/55-c Candidates must meet the open competitive minimum qualifications below and include with their resume or application, a copy of the letter from Civil Service which indicates approval for the 55-b/55-c program.
Open competitive minimum qualifications (provided for 55b/c candidates and 70.4 transfer eligibles): There are no minimum educational requirements. You will be required to demonstrate that you meet the minimum proficiency in keyboarding.
