Operate heavy equipment, such as trucks, tractors, front-end loaders, etc.; operate light self-propelled equipment, such as power mowers, chainsaws, power saws, etc.; perform a variety of tasks utilizing power and manual hand tools, including but not limited to saws, hammers, drills, sanders, etc.; possess ability to perform a variety of construction trades, including but not limited to masonry, carpentry and electrical; supervise seasonal staff as necessary.

Additional Comments Must have valid driver's license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Use of personal protection equipment, including respirator, will be required. Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain, work in remote areas and work in adverse weather conditions. Travel and overtime be required. Weekends and holidays may be required. Must be available for emergency response. Must obtain a Class A CDL with air brake endorsement within 6 months of appointment. Will be subject to the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act (OTETA) of 1991, which requires employee testing for drug and alcohol abuse. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Pesticide Applicator's License must be obtained within one year of appointment.
