The Division of Air Resources is responsible for the protection of public health and welfare of New Yorkers through the implementation of the state's air quality control program. Organized into six program bureaus with different areas of responsibility, staff work in close association with and support staff in our nine regional offices. The Director's Office provides management and support for all aspects of the air pollution program. The Administrative Aide assigned to the Director's Office will serve as an integral part of program's administrative support staff team working on a wide variety of activities with program managers, professional and administrative staff to ensure a continued work flow and timely and accurate work outputs. Transfer Eligible - One year of permanent competitive service at Salary Grade 11 or higher and:
Transfer eligible under Section 70.1 - permanent competitive service as an Administrative Aide, Accountant Aide, Accountant Aide Trainee 2, Agency Program Aide, Business Document Specialist 2, Environmental Conservation Program Aide trainee, Keyboard Specialist 3, Principal Mail and Supply Clerk, Principal offset Print Machine Operator, Principal Stores Clerk, Secretary 1. Additional titles SG 11 or higher which qualify can be found on the Department of Civil Service website, search "GOT-IT".
