NYSERDA Reports
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has sponsored research on improving and enhancing the indigenous oil and gas resources in New York. The majority of their reports are posted on the Empire State Oil and Gas Information System (ESOGIS.) In 2007, NYSERDA released an overview on oil and gas potential in New York entitled "New York's Natural Gas and Oil Resource Endowment: Past, Present and Potential". The Division of Mineral Resources contributed to the development of this document and has it posted here as a seven part PDF document.
