Duties/Responsibilities | |
Minimum Qualifications Strictly adhered to based on Civil Service requirements | Bachelor's degree or higher in climate policy, climate science, economics, engineering, environmental sciences, government or political science, physical or natural sciences, planning, public policy, or sustainability, AND seven years of full-time professional experience in positions that encompass the establishment or management of environmental or clean energy programs; preparing or reviewing climate relevant policies, plans, projects, regulations or environmental impact statements; preparing professional testimony for use in hearings or trials or legal experience involving environmental matters related to climate, air pollution or clean energy; or preparing environmental analysis of climate change issues. Two years of this experience must have been at the managerial level. A Master's degree in one of the required disciplines may be substituted for one year of professional experience if it was not used to meet the entrance qualifications. A PhD in one of the required disciplines or a JD degree may be substituted for two years of experience. |
