Minimum Qualifications Strictly adhered to based on Civil Service requirements | Minimum Qualifications for provisional appointment: Bachelor's degree, plus one year of specialized experience in the administration of a recreation program or in educational, medical, health, safety or information technology (working as an administrator for a recreation/reservation system or related field); with increasing levels of responsibility. or Associate's degree, plus two years of specialized experience in the administration of a recreation program or in educational, medical, health, safety or information technology (working as an administrator for a recreation/reservation system or related field); with increasing levels of responsibility. or Four years of specialized experience in the administration of a recreation program or in educational, medical, health, safety or information technology (working as an administrator for a recreation/reservation system or related field); with increasing levels of responsibility. Reassignment - Currently in the title of Campgrounds Program Coordinator and an employee of DEC or Reinstatement Eligible - Previously held the title on a permanent competitive basis. Program Technology Support and Health Safety - Addendum Within one year of appointment, prospective candidate must successfully complete and receive certification for the CPR, First Aid and AED Instructor from the American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Providers or American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent. |
